‘Jack Quaid and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are an unlikely but endearing pair in Neighborhood Watch’ – Review | MovieJawn

“It’s safe to say that self-doubt is a universal experience. There’s something within each of us that causes us to question, worry, and fear. For some, these scrutinizing inner voices have a face. This is quite literally the case for Simon (Jack Quaid), a young man struggling with schizophrenia, in new crime thriller Neighborhood Watch

Director Duncan Skiles drops the unrelenting tension of his last feature, The Clovehitch Killer (2018), for a script that is a little more endearing. When Simon stumbles off the bus and back into his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, he finds that his struggles with mental health are inescapable. After witnessing an assault and kidnapping, his reputation hinders his credibility with the police, and he decides to turn to an unlikely source for help finding this missing girl.”
