Pairing nicely with this revenge flick directed by the Canadian twin duo Jen and Sylvia Soska is the track BWBB (‘Boys Will Be Boys’) by another Canadian twin duo known as Softcult.
In addition to how much we love this film (and Katherine Isabelle), we discuss the controversy around the Soska Sisters, medical school versus the body mod community as an allegory for the entertainment industry versus indie filmmaking, and (of course) the nuance of a female-directed rape-revenge film.
